The Merrill Lynch Investment Challenge in association with eFinancialCareers.com
In the first round, your team will participate for one month in an online trading game
with a £10,000,000 fantasy fund. You will learn about the financial markets while
testing your market performance against students from other prestigious universities in
EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). Following this, the top performing teams
will be invited to prepare and submit a second round business case study.
A panel of Merrill Lynch judges will review each team's report and select the successful teams
to attend a one-week Insight into Merrill Lynch Programme in London and compete in
the final round.
The Investment Challenge opens at 1400 (GMT) Monday 5th January 2009 and closes at
1800 (GMT) Friday, 6th February 2009.
Prizes
- The team who win the final round of the Merrill Lynch Challenge in association with eFinancialCareers.com at Merrill Lynch's European headquarters in London will receive an award of €5,000.
- Each member of the 15 finalist teams will have the opportunity to apply for the 2010 summer internship programme.
